Cheetah print leggings?

So I had decided to wear cheetah print leggings with my jean skirt. one of my scene friend liked it, but everyone eles kept on looking at me funny and I could hear people saying “she looks like a animal.” and stuff like that.
Im in high school so of course this was going to happen but now i dont think i have the guts to wear it again. and i just bought them, so now i feel really bad because i made my mom buy the leggings.
what should i do?

try taking it a step further : wear rabbit fur around your ankles for instance with the leggings.
Wear them to your friend’s, and then your mom will be washing them. And, if you don’t care, wear them anyway. If other people comment, they judge people by what they wear, and thank your friend for not judging you. She is a good friend for not caring what you wear.
Oh my god they sound so cute! Why stop wearing them? I wouldn’t! Besides, animal print is stylish, and cheetah print is always cool.
If you keep wearing them, eventually the joking will stop. Just think, the first pair of red converse were made fun of and called “clown shoes”, now they’re popular and common.
