going to dinner, and a bar to shoot pool. is it okay to dress this way…….?

I want to wear a skirt (not too short, ESP since I am short) with below the knee boots. brown. lepard print shirt under a jaket. looks likda dressy I think, but is it too dressy for a casual dinner place, and a bar? will I look out of place, or can we just dress how we want??
sometimes I just want to look nice, even though I dont have anywhere nice to go! lol, thankls for opinions!

i think it would be fine to do that! people won’t look at you because you’re out of place they’ll lokk at you because they’re jealous because they didn’t have the corage to dress up a little! Hope you look fabulous!
I agree that you shouldn’t feel like you have to “dress down,” but I think you will look out of place with a jacket and a long skirt.
Of course, drinking beer, and bending over a pool table in high heels, a short skirt and a low cut blouse is exactly my idea of a fun Friday night, but maybe thats just me.

throw out the lepard print shirt and the skirt.
instead wear a comfortable pair of nice jeans and a cute little halter with a nice jacket.
boots might look nice with some jeans, but some nice flats might look even better.
I say go for it. Don’t ever worry about what other people might think if your’re not dressed like everyone else in the bar. You feel good when you know you look good! I’m only 5′ myself and love wearing boots with a shorter (and not too short) skirt. When I go out with my friends we love to dress up even if we’re going to some hick bar. Have fun!

It sounds great for dinner, but can you shoot pool in the skirt? I’m short, and when I play pool, I have to lean over the table a lot. A tight skirt would give me fits! Maybe a cute pair of brown slacks? Also, make sure your shirt doesn’t give the guys across the table an eyeful when you lean over.

I think the outfit is okay for going out with friends, but you will definitely stand out at the pool hall b/c MOST people who go there are in jeans and t-shirts. And PLEASE wear a pair of boy shorts underneath your skirt b/c you wouldn’t want your “assets” showing when you’re leaning over the table to shoot a ball. Have fun!
