Help me find clothes!?

April 22, 2010 by

I’ve found some clothes I like, but they’re often not in my size or are way too expensive. Here’s some clothes that I like so you can get a sense of what to look for

http://i258.photobucket.com/albums/hh260/garlicandbutter/clothes.jpg

I’m 16- a size 0 in bottoms and an XS in tops. The person who directs me to the most individual links of clothes I like will get best answer. I like most colors. I don’t like really flowery prints, or really wide shoulders. I don’t really wear skirts or tube tops. I’m mainly looking for tops, dress shirts (white or pinstriped) cardigans, maybe some jackets. I like cute colorful clothes as well as more sophisticated, business-y types too.

So show me how good you are with online shopping! Please no links from Hollister, American Eagle, or Abercrombie. I am trying to be original.

if you’re looking to turn heads, make a statement and take a chance by going to thrift stores. i always go and find things from like 20 years back and no one ever has any of it. you just have to rock it. (oh, and you REALLY have to dig at those stores. there is a lot of junk)

ebay is a great place to find vintage clothes. or things people don’t generally have. who knows, you might start a new trend.

now if you don’t want to step too much out of the fashion risk zone, then try stores like wet seal, urban outfitters, forever 21, or even pac sun. personally, these are my favorite stores, but we generally have the same taste in clothes.

if you want basic colors that you can maybe add a cool jacket or hot pants with, try american apparel. they have tons of great items. my personal favorite of theirs is the hoodie dress. i love wearing it with leggings and flats. it’s good for a lazy day.

But Hey. Don’t completely knock out hollister, abercrombie, and american eagle. There are ways to take things they have, and spice them up. It’s just a matter of knowing how to work what you got.

I get a lot of my clothes at aeropostale. I got really nice peacoats, jackets, dress shirts, and jeans discounted from like 80 dollars to twenty dollars. You can sign up for the mailing list here and get free discount coupons. http://2biturl.com/17c .

I like http://www.jjmartinclothing.com They don’t have much stock, but the clothes change all the time, shipping is free, and the clothes are cheap! Nothing is over $20!
