No, on the maroon shirt, you could get away with a solid black T-shirt and maybe a solid green top. Green is the opposite color on the color wheel and white always works. I think you should wear black shoes with it.
Nope, not only is it too much red but maroon/dark red and regular red don’t go together at all. Go for a black shirt and black shoes.
