my improved style for high school (good or bad)?

well my style has changed a lot, A LOT. i used to only wear A&F, Hollister, AE and stores like that.
well i want my first year of high school to be a new me. the real me.
so i was wondering how this style would be for High School. most of my clothes are from Urban Outfitters, J. Crew, Lucky Brand and Anthropologie. but i want to start shopping at American Apparel, Banana Republic and Ann Taylor LOFT.
i own lots (or i wear a lot)of skinny jeans, scarves, knit berets, baby doll tops, printed tunics, sun dresses, fun tights, flats, converse, tees, fun prints (like polk-a-dots and stripes) and mini skirts (not too mini).
but would this style go over well with people at high school? is it too different? (idk if thats a bad thing) does it fit in too much? and also is it too… mature for a 14 year old? any comments?
thanks.
P.S. i know this is kinda a weird question but as you probably guessed i am nervous and excited about high school and want to make it good. i dont want to be like
and i would describe my style as fun, girly, classy yet a little bit of hippy.
i know weird combo.
everyone else but i dont exactly want to be like a total outcast… lolz
so thanks. PLEASE BE NICE!!!
give ur pics also to judge fair
no thats cool for high school, at least my high school, theres a girl there who sounds and dresses like you and everyone Loves her so i think it would be just different enough to keep you out of the crowd but cool enough to be accepted by everyone(well thats hard to be accepted by EVERYONE haha)
“well i want my first year of high school to be a new me. the real me.”
if you truly want to show the real you then you should wear something you like not what you think other ppl will like. If you wear something that you’re happy with then you will feel confident. Confidence in yourself and your style, will cause people to admire you and accept you for who you are. Dont listen to others, as long as you’re happy it shouldnt matter. in the end when they realize that you are your own person they will come to respect you, and who knows you may even start a trend. just remember to stay true to yourself.
I’d like to raid your closet!
lol.
I don’t think you’d look like an outcast.. but I say alot of it would have to do with the area in which you attend school.
Some people might find your clothes to be over the top, but then again, many people judge too quickly.
Your description of your wardrobe sounds really cute, cool and chic.
If you feel comfortable and confident in your clothes there’s absolutely no reason as to why you should be afraid to wear em’!
As long as you don’t try to be someone your not, you’ll have a sucessful 4 years in High School!
Make the best of it and Have fun!
I have a feeling you just may be voted Best Dressed your Senior year!
:]
actually that sounds very cute….but High school is about finding you and theres alot of different personalities there….my suggestion is add something different to your everyday trend that makes you stand out….like start a new trend possibly but keep it cute
It’s a tradeoff. To look unique is to be somewhat an outcast. To be the same is to lose individuality, but fit in easily.
The real you is determined through your personality. Show that more rather than a pair of nice jeans or whatso.
i think more people are going to be wearing the hollister and abercrombie stuff your wearing now, but if you want to change it then okay thats ok too.
that’s perfect for high school because its you! i’m fourteen too and i shop at alot the places you named and my style is so different from everyone else i love it. just keep doing what your doing and wear whatever you like!
idk sorry
