Red Skirt Dance – Lunar New Year Seattle 2008

Fourth Performance by the Hengda Dance Academy. This dance was a lot more stunning than the video gives it credit for. There were bells attached to the back of her dress, that’s what you see her shaking in the beginning. Sorry for the shakiness and low quality, it was extremely packed in there, and people kept bumping me or trying to squeeze behind me. Love the skirt twirl at the end! We thought she was going to fall off the stage she got so close lol. Sorry for the cutoff at the end, memory …

    WOW! I did the same exact dance by taught by Li Hengda. It’s a beautiful piece.

    This is the Mongolian dance, I believe the dancer in this one is Doris Mao. =]
