Some hipster-pretending, Southern Florida rag newspaper decided to print a list of “Florida’s Hottest Pols” and my wife, who is running for District Attorney in our small county, made the list. She was ranked No. 39 out of 40.

It read, in part, “Watch out for this Central Florida firecracker. Claire _____, 40, not only earned her stripes as a much-feared defense attorney, representing some of the state’s meanest mob bosses, but also she is known to wear stilettos in in the courtroom with her trademark black business suits with short skirts, giving her a decided advantage with ‘hung’ juries. Oh, mama! The 5-5 buxom brunette is running a slash-and-burn campaign against a 30-year-incumbent, calling him everything from a draft dodger to a pedophile. If she doesn’t win the election, she’d be a natural to play the role of hot dominatrix.”

Somehow my wife found this flattering. The article doesn’t even mention the kids or me. Now she’s acting even more uppity than usual.
Last night, we were at a political fundraiser, and she seemed to shy away from me whenever the photographer came around. I think she didn’t want to be photographed with me.

Frankly, I think she’s living in some alternative universe. I’m pretty in-shape and look great for my age.

Does your spouse think he/she is better looking than you? Does he/she get a big ego when complimented on looks?

Can someone help me find a dress similar to this one?

I want something that looks like that for formal, but I want a graphic kind of print. Or, you could find me another dress that’s about 3/4 thigh in length (not pink or purple please!). It doesn’t really matter about the color, I actually like floral designs. It’d be great if you could find one with a similar style as the one in the link. Thanks!

Me and my friends are doing this thing like America’s Next Top Model, but not exactly like that show. 3 of my friends are going to be judges and they rest of us are going to model clothes. Here are the catergories:
Beach (I was thinking bikini top and a demi mini skirt)
First Date (we’ve all had it but just for fun we made this category)
Hottest
Prom
We’re being graded from 1-10, so the tie-breaker is anything we want. We’re not buying these outfits. We have to go out on our own, find an outfit, take pictures of ourselves, print them out and then the judges will judge. Can someone find me some outfits online? Thanks!!!

I need on to use as the bodice of a dress that I’m making, and I’ll be altering the bottom and attaching a full pettiskirt(petticoat skirt). But I’ve heard that boning on tops and dresses is really hard to do, and I don’t think I’m quite there yet–as I have only made a few dresses and costumes and just started sewing last year. But anyway, I need a bustier/corset style top with a floral print. Help me find one???? Thanks!!
Oh btw, I’m not wearing it soon. It’s my middle school graduation dress, which will be wearing in June. So I really don’t need any websites about what’s “instyle”. I designed this dress, and I’m going to make it. Thanks so much for all your guys’ help! =)

My husband and I have been married for 17 years with 2 children (ages 8 and 13). About 6 months ago I found some communication that was made via internet between my husband and another woman (who is 15 yrs his junior) whom he met while playing an online game. Not only did I find sexual comments between them there were some very deep conversations of concern and care for one another. Knowing full well this couldn’t develop into anything physical (she lives several states away) I was still deeply hurt and I confronted him about this. He immediately gave excuses that he was just “using” her so he could advance further in this online game and he was just feeding her what she wanted to hear. He also went on to say they were just friends and there was nothing to worry about as she is also a lesbian. He stopped playing this online game and assured me all communication would stop. About 3 months later (I’m not proud of this) I kinda felt something was going on because he would be online all through the night while I was sleeping so I hacked into his email. I found a “secret” email account, a “secret” MySpace account which was viewable by his approved friends only. I found more communication between he and this woman and found he was playing this online game again with her. More intimate comments. I confronted him again and he went on to say that he needed someone to talk to and I don’t listen to him (which is very untrue–I am always willing to discuss anything that is on his mind but he never brought anything up). Our sexual relationship has diminished down to maybe once or twice a month (his choice). He also continuted to state that they are just friends and nothing unappropriate was said. I ended up contacting this woman via email and asked her about what their status was. She confessed to me that while they were friends there had been some very sexual discussions and she stated he had himself being single with children on his MySpace account. She apologized to me and insisted that she would cease all communication with him. With a printed copy of her email in my hand I showed my husband and he still was in denial. He says he loves me but he’s just stressed. Again he says he won’t do it again. I don’t believe him and I constantly check his email for anything suspicious. He recently found out I check his email because I confronted him when I found pictures that he took out of our window with his camera phone of a girl that lives across the street (wearing a very short skirt) that he had sent to his email account. He gave me several excuses (testing his camera??) and then proceeded to get angry that I check his email. I told him it was a lack of trust due to the past 2 online incidents. I feel awful for spying on him, I feel hurt that he would have this “emotional affair” with this young woman and lie to me about it even with proof in my hand. My mother in law tells me that’s just a thing that men do and I shouldn’t overreact. How can I not? What would you do in this situation?

it has to fit our dress code;
no jeans, tshirts or tank tops. polos must be under a vest or jacket. skirt must be past the knee & plain (no prints, ie; flower, animal ect.) sweaters can’t show too much skin & there can be no writing on anything.
