wardrobe stripped down – fashion change?

hey all,
basically, i’m pretty much sick of my wardrobe. like, not that i have nothing in there. it’s more like a, i’m done with all the clothes. i believe it’s time for me to change.
i’m starting university in Jan’09, and was hoping to have a whole new look and sort of to be continued from there. like a fun but still is able to be taken seriously sort of variation wear.
honestly, i’m up for any change prints or strips or whatever. i dont even mind cutting my hair for it. i just wanna not be plain or trying to hard anymore. maybe a basic list of things i should have so i can go around and mix and match, my fave.
so basically, i’m like going 21. i’m not very tall about 5″ 4′. I wear a size 8 for tops and for pants or skirts, i normally go for waist size 29″. but they are for low-waisted ones, never was a fan for high waisted because i think they will make me look shorter!
normally, i’ll go for solid colors and tank tops and some tees. mini skirts, mostly shorts, jeans and occasionally a dress (that’s because most of my dresses are so formal or prom-ish). very plain and simple.
anyhow, like i say if anyone can give me any great ideas for basic selection that would really cool, all the way down to the shoes, if possible.
well, hope to hear from someone soon! thanks lots ya! <3

An easy way to always change up your wardrobe is to have the basics, and then add accessories. So, make sure you have some of these basics:
-dark wash jeans (whether they’re skinny or flare, thats your choice)
-plain colored tee’s (brights, whites, darks; they’re all good to have, year round)
-button up shirts.
-black flats, that will go with everything.
now, here’s ways to add some creativity to your wardrobe:
-colored/printed tanks under see-thru tops.
-scarves.
-cardigins.
-jewelery.
a great “staple” store would be american eagle. they’re fairly priced, and always have the basics.
