What type and color shoe should I wear with a semi long white eyelet skirt?

Im going to be in a wedding this weekend. I am to wear a red lacey tank top and a semi long white eyelet skirt. Any ideas?

Hmm….There are quite a few types of eyelet skirts, so I am not sure. Can you put a link to a picture with your question? Like, put on your skirt and top and have someone take a picture for you! I could help you much better if I saw it, you know? But you should stick with your color catagory….either white or red shoes!
You could go with classy red flip flops
or wedges that have red. I think that
little cork wedges would look adorable!
Just shop around. You could even wear
your skirt out and see what you like with
it!

It’s got to be either a cute pair of flats or a great pair of heels. If you’re going to do a heel you could do it in black, turquoise, metallic silver or gold, or just do a red shoe. The same goes for the flats. Another color that could work would be a darker shade of purple or cranberry.

First, you may want to check with the bride before you wear ANYTHING white to the wedding. Second, depending on how old you are, I’d suggest either a neutral or white sandal with a medium to high skinny heel. You may even want to go with a wedge. Either way, the shoe should be simple and classy. Try to stay away from any platform that’s more than a half inch.

Im going to suggest a bright color and since the top is red I would suggest a red. However if you can find a shoe that has a mix of the white red and something to darken it like black or navy that would work too. If you could find a peep toe that would be the Coup de grâce. Good luck.
