What type of dresses or skirts do women wear to Kingdom Hall?

My bf is Jehovah Witness, and he invited me on April 6th to go to Kingdom Hall with him and his family. I know that women wear dresses or skirts, but I’m not sure of what type. Can I wear print colors or flower dresses or plain? and what about length? I really dont want to offend anyone there by wearing something inappropriate. Thanks
I think he got the dates mixed up…he invited me to the Memorial, and I believe that is on April, 9th.

Just wear what you would wear to any church. Print, flowers , plain etc you can wear it all as long as its not to far out there.

My employer is staunch J.W…I’ve been dragged to their meetings many many times. It’s acceptable to wear a knee length(or even ankle length) dress/skirt. Make sure that your chest is fully covered. I’m serious. Any hint of cleavage and you WILL be nailed for your “immodesty.” Otherwise good luck to you.
just nothing above the knee.Just becaus eyour going to the Kingdom Hall doesnt mean that you cant be fashionable.You can wear bright colors you dont have to loook boring.Especially at our assemblys or memorial us girls somtimes go over the top LOL just wear something that doesnt show to much clevage like a halter top.Also try to cover your chest, otherwsie you might feel awkward because you would be the only one like that.
I also encourage you to go to the memorial (April 9) its the most important ebent we have all year.=)
Visitors do not have to dress up as much as Witnesses do. They are very happy and hospitable people.
The Witnesses themselves dress up in a suit (or sports jacket) and tie for men, and a modest dress or skirt for women. In other words, you do not have to look like your Amish or a nun, but you probably do not want to wear a very short skirt.
Something casual but not too casual. A simple skirt below your knees and a nice shirt, button up or something dressy. Dont go over the top tho. Color really doesnt matter just dont wear something too bright. A tan skirt with a flower print top? Depends on the stores around you and what you can find or what you already have.
i have been there befor just were a plane jrees long up to your feet they were long jresse there and if iam rong just ask your boyfreand or his mom!
Just modest attire for your region. It does not have to be long dresses, but some countries normally wear dresses to the ankle (like African countries, East India and others).

Everyone there will simply be happy to see you no matter what you wear, really. However, if you want to fit in, it’s really just a matter of wearing something modest and normal. Lots of our magazines have pictures of what women wear to the Kingdom Hall. The invitation actually does itself, too, on the back, so maybe you could ask him to show you some of those pictures to give you a better idea.
What people have said about not wearing a mini-skirt or showing cleavage is correct. Wear whatever colors you want. The basic rule is just to display “soundness of mind” and modesty.
I know I speak for everyone when I say we will be happy to have you with us for that very special occasion, wherever in the world you will be attending.
Nothing low-cut or short. Below your knee would be the shortest you should go. And yes, you can wear something with a pattern on it. Just make sure your clothes are modest and clean. It doesn’t have to be something expensive. I am sure you will enjoy attending the meeting! You will meet lots of nice people and see lots of smiling faces. Have a great time!

Yes the memorial date is April 9th 2009 (after sundown) at all Kingdom Halls worldwide. Think about that, that we are observing this important memorial date all throughout the earth exactly the same.
