Where should I get my clothes from?

I’m starting a new school. This school has a very strict dress code, so I can’t wear hardly any of my clothes. (I don’t dress bad, I usually just wear jeans and a t-shirt, but that’s not allowed anymore.) I’m kind of poor, but all the people at this school are extremely rich. (I got a scholarship.) I’m in the 9th grade.

The dress code is:
- No cleavage or midriff at ALL
- No torn, frayed, sloppy, or dirty clothes
- No tank tops
- Shorts, pants, or skirts near the knee are acceptable
- Shirts may not have any screen printed text or
graphics on any portion of the shirt. (Very important!!)
- Must wear a belt if the pants have belt loops

Forever 21, you can fit alot of that stuff in except for the shirt thing.
OR Target, Kmart, Kohl’s, etc. May sound cheap buy it fits your dress code.

    && jeez that’s freaking crazyy

Well as far as plain shirts, Wet Seal almost always has a 5 for $25 sale on v-necks, scoops and tank tops (which I know you can’t wear but could layer underneath).

As far as bottoms, I would try any large department stores (or even Walmart) near you. They tend to have longer shorts and capris. I would stick to capris or bermudas (depending on the length) and jeans.

In general if you go to either Forever 21 or Wet Seal (esp. during sale times) and you are selective on what you get, you should be fine.

DAmm they might as well say tuck ur shirt in to.. and no jewlery and hair must be in a pony tail… but i’d juss go to random stores and shop for clothes that fit and look through my cloths once again that i can compremise with the dress code…

Try JCPennys. They have alot of nice clothes. You might want to look in the Ladies Department or Petites depending on what size you are. They also have really good sales and they can fit most budgets depending what your looking for. Good Luck!! :)

I recommend shopping at Macy’s. They sell everything, even clothing associated with your dress-code.

  9. Shortstop says:

That’s a really harsh dress code! i would suggest going to thrift stores( i know no sloppy clothes, but sometimes they have nice stuff) and seriously looking for sales. capri’s and those long shorts would probably pass, and as for shirts, Ross’s has a quite a few fairly cheap and plain color t-shirts. you can always where a shaw or jacket over some things to hide the ” violations”.
